Developing and teaching course/s in the EVMS Master of Surgical Assisting Program
- Facilitate class instruction and interact daily with students via discussion board, grading, etc.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on ongoing student performance and award grades according to established guidelines and timelines.
- Comply with any required EVMS faculty training related to teaching in the online environment
Serve as course director for Business of Surgical Assisting Services course to include development and management of syllabus and course materials.
Education: Graduate of a Surgical Assistant Program. Holds Surgical Assistant Certification.
Credentials: Experienced in Surgical Assisting profession and holds a CSA/CSFA certification.
Teaching Experience: Experience teaching in a live/online environment at the graduate level.
