THE ROLE:

As a Silicon Design Engineer 2, you will work with Verification and RTL engineers to improve existing flows and design & develop new flows which will help improve productivity.

THE PERSON:

You have passion for automation. You will build tools for enhancing developer workflows and provide solutions. Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in existing ecosystems and implement processes/tools to remove them. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• - Design, build, test, monitor, manage and maintain tool chains for critical functions
• - Own and drive improvements to build, simulation, release scripts, tools, and processes
• - Automate technologies to improve the velocity and quality of engineering efforts

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Deep knowledge of one or more scripting languages including shell, Perl, Python, Groovy, Java and/or Ruby
• Background in object-oriented programming
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to think critically and to formulate solutions to problems in a clear, concise, and timely manner
• Ability to monitor, debug, and automate routine tasks
• Expertise in Database administration and SQL
• Knowledge of Continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins and version control system such as Perforce or GitHub required
• Very good understanding of LSF and Unix system (RedHat)
• Experience with ASIC standard verification tools, languages, and flows is a plus
