Position Description
Position Description: Provide on-site logistics support to the Government Product Manager (PM) responsible for the development, integration, test, and production of the laser range finders and target locators.
Essential Job Functions:
Work on-site with Government customer at Ft. Belvoir, VA.
Plan, coordinate, and provide oversight in logistics and program management.
Perform analysis and logistics assessments and make recommendations as part of the Integrated Product Team (IPT) consisting of Government, support, and prime vendor personnel.
Have an understanding of the Logistic Life Cycle Management System.
Prepare, document, and deliver written and oral presentations in support of the PM Soldier precision Targeting Devices.
Prepare program plans and supporting documentations in accordance with DoD 5000 series Army regulations.
Travel up to 25% of the time.
Required Skills:
Logistics program management experience in DoD programs per DoD 5000 series directives.
Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Please note that this position is located in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Desired Skills:
Acquisition logistics experience for Army programs.
DAWIA level II certification acquisition logistics.
